Are there any behavior requirements?
We love all dogs, but for everyone’s safety we can only transport dogs that are:

Non-aggressive toward humans and other dogs.
Comfortable riding in a vehicle.

If your dog has specific behavioral needs, please let us know in advance so we can discuss the best way to support them.

How do you ensure my dog’s safety during transport?
Safety is our top priority. Our team uses secure restraints, harnesses , climate-controlled vehicle, and careful handling. Drivers are experienced dog handlers who prioritize calm, positive interactions.

Do you transport multiple dogs at once?
Yes, we often transport several dogs together (like a school bus for pups!). Dogs are grouped thoughtfully for compatibility and comfort.

Pricing & Payments
How much does the service cost?
Our fees cover one way and roundtrip you just let us know what you’d like.

Grooming, daycare, or boarding costs are paid directly to those providers. Exact pricing depends on your location and package (daily/weekly/monthly). Contact us for a personalized quote.

When do I pay?
Payment details will be provided at booking. We typically require payment confirmation before the first ride.

What is your cancellation policy?
We’re flexible! Please notify us at least 24 hours in advance for a full refund or credit.

During the Ride
Do I need to be home for pickup/drop-off?
Not necessarily. We offer our clients the option to leave their dog in a secure area (crate, fenced yard, mudroom) with a door code or hidden key instructions. We’ll confirm the process with you in advance, understandably we can build a trust if this option best suits you, if not we’ll gladly meet you at the door for handoff!

What should I prepare before pickup?
Please have your dogs go on a potty break before pickup!
Have your dog ready in a secure, accessible area.
Provide any special instructions (leash, harness, medications, notes for the groomer, etc.).
Make sure vaccinations and contact info are up to date.

Will my dog be supervised the whole time?
Yes. Our team stays in communication and ensures your dog is safe and comfortable from pickup through drop-off.

Can you take my dog to places other than groomers?
Absolutely. We transport to dog daycare, pet boarding, training sessions, vet appointments (when coordinated), and clean fun Adventure Rides!

What if my dog gets dirty or has an accident?
We’re experienced with dogs and carry cleaning supplies. Minor incidents are part of the job — we’ll handle it discreetly and notify you if needed.

Do you offer any Adventure Runs?
Adventure runs are coming soon! Stay tuned or ask us about future offerings.

What happens in case of an emergency?
We have protocols in place and will contact you immediately. Our team is trained to handle unexpected situations calmly and prioritize your dog’s well-being.

Is The Dog Bus insured?
Yes — we carry appropriate commercial insurance for pet transportation services. Details available upon request.
